BryteRiver: Good Design is Better Shared.

Welcome to BryteRiver. We spend our time digging through art history and antique stalls to find objects that actually have something to say.

Pull up a chair—let’s look at some interesting things.

The Collection: The Latest Finds.

We don’t think of this as a “store”—it’s more like a rotating gallery of things we’ve found that were too good to leave behind. Whether it’s a mid-century ceramic with incredible texture or a piece of original art with a real soul, these are the objects currently on our radar. We’re out at the flea markets and auctions looking for the pieces that anchor a room so you don’t have to. We host the current collection on Etsy to keep the hand-off simple and secure.

Found and Followed: Pieces That Catch Our Eye.

Our phones are full of photos of things we’ve seen in the wild. This is where they live. It’s a look into our curation process—short-form highlights of decor we’ve brought home or stumbled upon while out for coffee. We find a piece that speaks to us, then follow the thread of its design, its craft, or how it anchors a room.

FF- The Bright Ideas of Will It Lamp

The Bright Ideas of Will It Lamp?

Clay and Rory of Will It Lamp? are proving that any thrift store find can have a second act. From plate-turned-sconces to stout ceramic silhouettes, they’re turning discarded gear into high-end, functional art.

The Deep Dives

Save these for when you have a full cup of coffee and ten minutes. We’re fascinated by the “how” and “why” of the objects we live with. These are deep dives into the designers, artists, and movements that dared to do something different. Knowing the history makes owning the piece a lot more fun.

View of the Grand Canal Santa Maria della Salute and the Dogana from Campo Santa Maria Zobenigo - Bernardo Bellotto

Bernardo Bellotto: The Man Who Painted Cities

Living in the shadow of his famous uncle Canaletto, Bernardo Bellotto had to forge his own path. While his uncle painted Venice with a golden, romantic glow, Bellotto saw the city in cool, “silvery” high-definition. Discover the story behind his precise View of the Grand Canal, how 18th-century tourists used art as the original Instagram, and how Bellotto’s obsession with detail eventually helped rebuild a war-torn city centuries later.

Sourcing Services - Home Decor and Art Sourcing

Sourcing: Let's Find the Perfect Piece

Finding the right piece can be a total headache. If you’ve got a vision but can’t find the physical version of it—or if you just need us to scour the internet for a vintage leather sofa that isn’t a fortune—we’d love to help.

For a flat $200 fee, we’ll act as your personal scouts. We scour our network, check the quality, and handle the logistics so you don’t have to.

We Just Like Great Design.

BryteRiver is the result of years spent flipping over chairs to see the maker’s mark and losing track of time in thrift shops. We believe our homes should be a collection of things we actually care about, so we spend our time searching everywhere—from deep-internet archives and artist studios to the corner of a dusty local thrift store. This isn’t about exclusive galleries; it’s about the hunt for things that make a space feel like yours.
